60 Per Second

When shooting pictures and images, sometimes you like it fast. Other times you like it pretty. That brings a dilemma for those who want it all. How about those who want it fast and pretty at the same given time. No problem in the near future, or so it seems, according to Casio Computer Co. Ltd.

Apparently, the company has just come up with a solution. They have reportedly developed digital still camera that can shoot at a rate of 60 photos per second. At full resolution, mind you. It has been described as having a large 12X optical zoom lens behind which sits a 6.6-megapixel image sensor. Also, it can take up 35 photos at the 60 frame per second rate in burst shooting.

Moreover, Casio will also build in a pre-shot function that lets the camera capture images and buffer them before the shutter button is actually pressed. The price and launch date of Casio’s new news-grabbing camera has not yet been announced.
