For anyone who would prefer a simple laptop that is just up for the basic necessities, the Acer Aspire 4710 is one laptop that aspires to be the answer to your home computer needs. With an affrodable price and decent features and performances, it is hard to ignore that this laptop is actually capable of being your personal home laptop.

The Aspire 4710 features the company’s Gemstone design. This is actually matte-black lid and a light-gray interior with a case that has rounded corners and beveled edges. The screen has a native resolution 1280 x 800. It is not exactly a mean feat but for its price, it is pretty good. Among its other stand-outs are its comfortable keyboard and a system management software that is not complicated at all.

For the cons, since it is running on a dual-core Pentium processor, it has a bit of a slow performance. Also, its affordability may have affected its external media controls which it lacks.
