The Apple Mac Mini has always caught the eyes of many, despite what some might say with its features. However, it has now received an upgrade of sorts. Without too much fanfare, Apple has revitalized the Mac Mini by putting in some Intel Core 2 Duo components, instead of the old Core Duo chips. Now, the small-scale desktop is revamped for a more competitive performance. Of course, it goes without saying that the rise would probably be affecting the price tag as well.

The Core 2 Duo processor is the chief asset of this desktop. Also, its small chassis is still quite appealing despite the emergence of many competitors from rival Windows desktops. Another thing going for the Mac Mini is its software called iLife 08. However, one drawback that could turn off potential buyers is the somewhat too expensive price tag it sports currently. When compared to its competitors and rivals, it is way too expensive for its own good.
