2007 could very well be said as the year that brought us this camera that sure brought the goods. It is inexpensive without being cheap. if not for one quirk, it would simply be perfect. Therefore, the Canon PowerShot A570 IS is our best inexpensive camera for the year 2007.
WIth a 7.1 megapixel CCD sensor and 2.5-inch LCD, this is the best cam for your buck. Add to that the lens covers a 35mm equivalent of 35mm to 140mm and we have ourselves a winner. The A570 IS includes a Digic III processor chip. That means it also has Canon’s face detection which is a good thing through and through. The manual exposure controls are also great.
The image quality is quite a feat. Sans the noise at higher ISOs, this camera would have just been perfect. Still, with the abundance of many inexpensive cameras out there, the Canon PowerShot A570 IS stands out from the rest.
