“The Canon PowerShot SD430 is identical to the Canon PowerShot SD400, with the addition of Wi-Fi networking capabilities. Read the review of the PowerShot SD400 for a complete evaluation of the photographic capabilities of the camera.”-editor’s note: Shams Tarek/Lori Grunin [CNET Reviewer]
The Canon PowerShot SD430 makes far from its opponent and SD400 because of its remarkable remote control potentials. This remote control, in which it can only run on Windows XP, can remotely control the zoom effect, image control, auto-focus, flash mode and even the colour mode.
This highly performance digital camera can only save limited images up to 99,999 where you can save the taken pictures into external memory card and/or computer [via USB cable connector]. Canon PowerShot SD430 also comes with Wi-Fi features, where it can help you print out images using wireless connection with PictBridge Printer, unfortunately the printer that can only be used by Canon PowerShot SD430 is the Canon Printer only.

CNET Review for Canon PowerShot SD430:
The good: Wi-Fi capability includes full remote control and capture; ultracompact design; excellent burst capabilities; low shutter lag.
The bad: Cannot e-mail from camera as with Kodak’s EasyShare One; no remote capture via USB; few manual controls or scene modes; image quality far from stellar.
The bottom line: The Canon SD430 is the only consumer-level choice out there for wireless remote shooting and capture, but it’s an otherwise average camera.
