Who is not excited or looking forward to 2008, where a lot of car manufacturers are surely revving it up and amping it up for the coming releases? Of course, some of the add-ons could figure out the outcome and could pose as the so-called X factor. At least one compnay might be able to do that, with the help of a venerable piece of gadgetry.

Keyspan introduced a Sync Cable for iPod early this week. Now, what has that got to do with new cars, you might be asking or wondering right about now. Well, the aforementioned cable is capable of of making one’s iPod work with the entertainment systems of 12 different models of upcoming releases of the 2008 Ford, Lincoln and Mercury automobiles. When the Sync Cable for iPod is connected, it enables iPod users to display their iPod’s content on the screen of the automobile’s sound system. Moreover, it lets users control the iPod using the vehicle’s audio controls and charges the iPod’s battery as well.
