Enpower ENP660

The Enpower ENP660 is an inexpensive alternative for the other laptops out there that features the Intel Centrino Duo platform. What is almost as surprising as its price tag is the way it was designed. It does not come off as cheap at all. Rather, it is sleekly designed as well as even thinner than the other laptops it is compared to.

What jumps off right out of the box though, is the ENP660 is actually a bit slower than the other products that also boasts of a similar platform. This, according to most reviews, is a direct result of a 1 GB of RAM to it. Thus, it cannot effectively keep track with its competitors. However, considering the low price, you might be better off shelling a few bucks for certain upgrades.

Another source of gripe is the keyboard. Unlike some brands that could very well boast of its comfortability, it is not this product’s strong suit at all. It is quite cramped and the keys are not in a size you would want. Also, its battery life may not be awful but is clearly far from being called great in longevity.

With all these compromises, it is definitely not a bad buy if you are willing to shell out some dough for a few upgrades.
