No, this is not an article regarding the FBI or any agency people refer to as the Feds. Nor is this about that Kevin Federline guy that is the self-proclaimed K-Fed and is front and center in almost every entertainment program and magazine. Rather, this is an article about another developing story that could make its long-term effect be felt in two year’s time.

Sony Corp. has a new spin-off company that is developing another breakthrough in regards to monitors. Field Emission Technologies Inc. is planning to launch in 2009 a line of monitors based on FED (field emission display) technology. The monitors will be offered in a range of sizes up to 32 inches, the company said. What exactly does this new FED monitors could offer? Among other things, it offers faster response times, consumes less power, and produces more realistic images than is possible.
