For a company like Gateway, the M-150X is quite a rarity. Their latest laptop designs are featured in different colors, which have not been the case with their previous products. The M-150X is available in a myriad of colors. Choices range from red to dark gray. This laptop includes Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 processor, 2GB of RAM, a slot-loading DVD burner and an HDMI output among others.

The design has glossy finishes all over. It is definitely a modern-looking laptop. There is a 1.3 megapixel Webcam above the display screen. The 15.4-inch widescreen LCD display offers a 1 280 x 800 native resolution. There are several extras included in the M-150X. There is Bluetooth, 802.11n Wi-Fi and the aforementioned HDMI output.

The M-150X is a case of win some, lose some. There are some really annoying details such as the touchpad, the keyboard and some design chinks. Still, the extras could entice a lot of people to avail of it.
