As you may have guessed by now, we are going to take a brief yet insightful look at a Harman Kardon product. However, this is not going to be about a home audio system. In fact, the Harman Kardon Guide Play GPS-500 is a car navigation system that does a lot of things that allows you to minimize your stress from the traffic conditions.

This device basically infuses a car navigation system with a multimedia device. It is quite a sleek-looking device too. Weighing in at 7 ounces and a silver-and-black finish that exudes classic classiness, this is a good piece to have in your car. The wide screen display screen checks in at 4 inches and has a 480 x 272 resolution. This results to better images and maps.

The Guide Play also has text-and-voice directions that makes your drive more effiicient. However, be forewarned that the Guide Play does not result to the most accurate directions all the time. As for the music and video playback, it performs above par. Of course, most multimedia devices in GPS are mediocre, so that is a negative sign out there.
