This laptop is the succesor to last year’s tx1000. That one was actually a recipient of very favorable reviews, due to its touch screen and media controls. The HP Pavilion tx2000z is an iteresting follow-up since it is expected to do even better. Topping the tx1000 is quite a feat that they managed to pull off though.

With a 2.3GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-66processor, expect this gizmo to be slightly faster. It still follows teh same screen size as its predecessor, that being 12.1 inches. This LCD screen offers a 1280 x 800 native resolution. They made a change with the touch screen. Now, this edition comes with an active digitizer. Thus, the writing becomes more natural than ever before.

The focus of this laptop is clearly the entertainment freaks out there. They deliver once again. The media controls are awesome. There is a fingerprint reader, buttons for rotating the display orientation, and a Webcam. The HP Pavilion tx2000z has got you covered with your entertainment needs.
