Last week, a common problem for iPod Touch users have apparently been fixed. An update for the software was released by Apple Corp. in hopes of finally laying to rest the incessantcomplaints it had received from its many owners. The update was released last Thursday.
Called the iPod touch software version 1.1.1, it was simply described as to have been containing certain bug fixes. However, with 150 MB to its credit, it certainly piqued curiousity as to what it specifically sought. It appears, though that the update is for correcting a video-display problem that would make some iPod touch units displaying dark images improperly.
As it is, those who have yet to update could do so with these simple steps: users of iPod touch who wish to update to the new version can do so via the iTunes. When the iPod touch is plugged in, users can select it in the Source list and click Check for Update to start the download and installation process. Easy does it, huh? So, this would soon eliminate those bad images.
