The JVC KD-PDR30 CD Receiver is a car stereo that actually realizes its overall purpose through an iPod. Also, it is able to function like other car stereos: you can listen to music that is broadcasted either through airwaves or the latest satellite radio broadcasts.

With its silver plastic trimmed faceplate with its two circular controls firmly attached and located at its left-hand side, it is stylish and visually arresting. Of course, it is only pertinent and viable that an iPod connector is standard with this gadget. There are 6 radio presets that also allows you to alter playback from CDs and iPod. The KD-PDR30 can play the usual MP3 and WMA formats.

What it fails to achieve is to make the navigation of large iPod libraries quick and easy. This brings the gadget down a notch as this is a potential distraction to your road responsibilities.
