Maybe installing the Leopard into your laptops is not the best of ideas, if some quarters are to be believed. Some reports are coming out lately that installing the Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard into one’s laptop may affect its battery life.
According to a report by Information Week, complaints are filing in that some users have assumed that they have had drained batteries. This, they said, happened after the users installed the new Mac OS. Also, complaints have also said to have been posted in the Apple Leopard support forum.
Some claim battery life has shrunk by a third, leading to speculation that Leopard’s graphic interface may be the culprit. This is sure to be tackled in the weeks to come.
