We now present you another addition to the growing list of players in the High Definition Television business. Mitsubishi recently unveiled the Mitsubishi WD-65831.

It is a rear projection TV that is part of the 831 series. Other specs include the following:

1) DLP

2) Diagonal size: 65 inches

3) Weight: 99 lbs

4) Resolution: 1920 x 1080

5) Two built-in speakers

6) Split screen channel preview

For sheer size, this is a good set. Even for its garagantuan built, what is ironic is it is quite a compact HDTV in the opinion of many. Add to that its outstanding picture quality brought about by its resolution. Moreover, insiders quick to note that for a big sized DLP television, its appearance is not shabby at all. In fact, CNet even went as far as to proclaim they loved its looks!

Mitsubishi offers a lot of stuff for convenience’s sake like the NetCommand system in the remote control that lets the user access some A/V options. That must explain for the quite expensive price tag. Still, reviews mostly indicate it is worth it.
