Here is the thing nowadays: when you suggest buying a budget camera, it could mean a lot of things. It could very well mean you are cheap. Or it could add up to the fact that you are not looking for a technologically savvy equipment. Maybe even both.

The Nikon Coolpix L11 is a budget camera. It does not offer any new state-of-the-art technological feature. Nothing extraordinary here, folks. The looks are barely regular. However, simplicity may be its number one beauty. Its control scheme that features a large joypad coupled with large buttons makes it comfy for practically everybody.

The Coolpix L11 is a 6 megapixel camera with a 2.4 inch LCD screen. Still, it delivers in image quality. Reviews mostly pointed out that it is virtually distortion-free. The only flaw it may have is it lacks any manual control to give you a free rein. Maybe you should not dismiss budget cams after all.
