The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX100 is a 12 megapixel compact camera that is actually best described as ultra compact. It also continues the precedent set by the other models of the FX series by Panasonic in its body design. Also, it deviates from other brands of the 12 megapixel line with its 28mm setting on its zoom lens.

The 3.6x optical, 28mm to 100mm that allows you to make extensions that will provide a wider angle. While the FX100 actually has 20 preset scene modes, it continues the vicious cycle of compact cameras that do not feature or lets you have any manual exposure controls. The Panasonic Mega OIS lens-shift stabilization lends a helping hand in ending those shaky hand controls. The ISO control is an added asset as it prevents any blurs to your images.

The image quality is generally good as it was able to produce bright colors and sharp details. Problem is, there is still a bit of noise that has been unchecked by the company for quite some time now.
