Panasonic Toughbook CF-52

It is quite easy to market a product. Sometimes it is easy as marketing it via the name itself. That way, it is obvious what the product is all about and not relying so much on flyers and advertisements. That could very well just be the logic behind the new laptop from Panasonic.

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-52 could very well be called nails because that is how it seems to be marketed: tough as nails. I mean, the name itself should give consumers the ruggedness it soughts to achieve. This Core 2 Duo laptop packs a heavy artillery and 7.6 pounds of power. Of course, it is heavy. That is why it is tough, right? It could be dropped for so many times and still perform. It has a magnesium alloy chassis and a 15.4-inch widescreen LCD display that offers an outstanding 1920 x 1200 native resolution.

One gripe though is its optical drive that is too exposed for comfort. It seems to be too vulnerable for its own good. Of course, this one chink in teh armor could very well be said to many other laptops that are not as tough as the Toughbook CF-52. Still, with its components and the comfort of knowing it can take the heat, this laptop is not bad at all.
