Bill Gates and Steve Jobs are two of the most popular names in the business of technological advancements. They are also two of the most important and certainly the most influential names in the industry. Moreso, they are always been described as the most bitter rivals.

Last week, however, they seemingly had to make the news once again. This time, they did not ridicule each other with funny ads. They did not even snipe at one another. Rather, they shared the stage to mark a reunion never before seen since Shaq and Kobe on Christmas Day 2005.

D: All Things Digital conference made it happen. The annual gathering organized by the Wall Street Journal was the site of the historic reunion of sorts between the two tech titans. Nowhere to be found were the PC guy. It was as friendly and maybe uneasy as it could possibly be. Pleasantries were the order of the day.
