Samsung has now finally unveiled to the public what they were working on in regards with cameras. They have just shown what they intend to be great additions to the division of entry-level cameras. The company has unraveled the newest products in their S-Series cameras: the S760 and the S860.

The S760 is a 7.2 megapixel camera while the S860 is its counterpart with 8.2 megapixels. Both of these new entry-level cameras feature a 3x optical zoom (35mm film equivalent: 38-105mm) Samsung SHD lens. Also, both these cameras offer shooters Digital Image Stabilization (DIS). This, according to the company, helps minimize the effect of camera shake and produce sharp, clear images, especially in low-light environments.

Moreover, the S760 and the S860 feature Face Detection technology that detects up to nine faces and automatically adjusts focus and exposure to ensure better composition and image quality. The two cameras would be available by next month.
