The Toshiba Satellite M205-S7452 is, at first glance, somewhat following the footsteps of its predecessors. It seems like the template of every laptop in the company’s Satellite series. However, upon further scrutiny, it is a minimized version albeit cheaper edition of previous laptops in the series. Also, there are other differences that set the M205-S7452 apart from the rest.
For one, unlike its predecessors, it comes with Intel Core 2 Duo CPU unlike previous editions that featured rival AMD. Another difference that could probably turn off fans of the previous editions is this laptop has been kind of a stripped down version in terms of the perky extras. Gone is the stylish Harman Kardon speakers. Also suffering elimination was the LabelFlash optical drive.
The 14.1-inch wide-screen LCD display boasts of a 1280 x 800 native resolution. On top of this is a webcam. The laptop also has a 160 GB hard drive. At a decent price tag, coupled with its great design that has been a tradition somewhat of the series, this could be one of the better choices in the market nowadays.
