Vista In A Fix

There is some good news for Windows Vista users and probably some really upsetting news for Microsoft officials. The fixes to the Windows Vista have been made. All those who have been clamoring for it, well, the long wait and annoyance is over. However, it may be too early for its release, since it has been leaked to the Internet.

After being offered to Windows Server 2008 beta testers this weekend, it did not take that long for the hotfixes to be available in the Net. Dubbed Vista Performance and Reliability Pack and Vista Compatibility and Reliability Pack, they are now even speculated in most sites to be the core or foundation of a future Service Pack. This is definitely quite a blow for the company. After all the hard work, this is what they get? Geez.

The fixes are updates that actually feature a lenghty list of non-security related bug fixes. Among those said to be included in the two packs are fixes to improve the Vista’s resumption after sleep, a boost to the speed of copying large directories, increase in compatibility with video drivers and others.
